Janet Vandenbark

With over two and a half decades of leadership experience with a fortune 250 financial services company, Janet Vandenbark brings a wealth of business building skills to teams and individuals.  Janet quickly grew from being in the top 20% of advisors to an executive field leader with Ameriprise Financial, Inc. by developing people, managing and leading change and leveraging resources to achieve outstanding business results.  Her areas of expertise include team building and alignment, people engagement, business growth and executive coaching.

Over her career she successfully collaborated with field colleagues and corporate office business partners to improve systems, processes and culture.  She has been called upon to collaborate with, and co-lead cross disciplinary groups to improve overall performance. This was achieved while continuing to run the day to day operations of leading hundreds of people.

Janet brings practical, real world expertise to businesses and individuals who want to break through to the next level and maximize their potential.  Her teams have not only won numerous business awards, but members have accomplished many personal and professional goals along the way. Most recently, she was asked to build out the employee platform for Ameriprise Financial, Inc. for the Southeastern region of the U.S.  Janet led several change processes including: compensation, leadership, integration of advisors and leaders from a business acquisition, and establishing their cultural alignment. During her tenure in the southeast she tripled advisor productivity, and in 2012, she once again achieved award level business results.

Throughout her career, Janet has been consistently recognized with prestigious awards.  She is licensed series 7, 65, 24 and life and health insurance and also holds the CFP and CRPC designations.  She holds BS, MS and Ed.S. degrees from Indiana University.

In her spare time, Janet plays golf, travels, and enjoys being in nature.  She is currently Chair of the Leadership Committee for the Atlanta Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association, and is Chair of the Foundation Board of Trustees for the Camping and Education Foundation, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Janet and her husband reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
